About Millie ~ 3.5yr Old Cattle Dog (On Trial 22/5/2022)

Please do not be disheartened or discouraged if you do not receive a reply, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time. Dog Rescue Newcastle reserve the right to not reply to unsuitable applicants and will not tolerate bullying, intimidation or harassment of our volunteers.
Meet marvelous Millie! This incredible beautiful girl is a 3.5yr old Cattle Dog. She is an absolutely stunning girl with a love for life and a huge enthusiasm for play! Millie is on the look out for an active home, where she can be involved with all aspects of family life.
Millie's favourite things to do include playing tug o war and fetch all day long. When she isn't having the time of her life with you playing and frolicking, she absolutely loves a cuddle on the couch or wherever you are. She loves to give kisses when asked and loves making you feel the most loved. Millie loves to play non stop, except for when she wants a cuddle break. She will rest herself against you when she's asking for cuddles and kisses. Is more than happy to lay down and amuse herself with her toy or any durable chew snack if you are busy in the home.
Millie loves walks at the park. She has gone to dog parks, will say hello to every person she comes across. She had not experienced the beach yet but we have a funny feeling this will be her new favourite pass time. Millie is a little concerned with new dogs due to a scary past experience for her. She will need someone with the patience, confidence and experience needed to help guide her past this little insecurity. Millie will love to have doggo play time in the future, however she needs slow and steady introductions to build her confidence.
Millie can experience some separation when left home alone without any stimulation. She will need an understanding, patient and committed environment to thrive and learn her own confidence. She would really suit someone who is home more times than not, or able to incorporate her into their every day life. She wants nothing more than to be your everything and be with you at every moment.
Millie is an excited and enthusiastic young girl. She isn't a big jumper, but due to her excitement, she will suit a family home with children over the age of 6. She will not suit first time dog owner homes, as she will need further training to be the most amazing family companion. She is dedicated and absolutely adores her people so will make the world's most amazing dog. Millie will require 5-6ft colourbond or similar fencing with no small holes or gaps. She will not suit apartments, courtyards or rural settings.
Millie is house trained, so she will let you know when she needs to go outside for toilet breaks. She knows how to sit, wait, stop, paw, speak, back up, kiss and cuddle. I mean, how can she get much more amazing!
Millie is in foster care in the Newcastle NSW Region and is available for interstate adoption. Millie's adoption fee is $700 and includes all up to date vet work. She is microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and treated for fleas and worms.
