Jameson craves love and security and will bond hard and fast to his human. He is slowly coming out of his shell but requires a slow and patient home that will help guide him to build his confidence.

He could live with another small dog and cats, or be an only dog. Jameson is people focused and just wants to be on or near you 24/7, he absolute detests being left alone even with a doggy friend, and will cry and howl if you leave him. He is very much an inside lapdog and will happily sleep the day away in your arms. He trots along nicely when out walking and enjoys his sniffaris, even though he can be a bit skittish when out.

He travels well in the car but does require an enclosed crate as otherwise he seems to get a bit carsick. His dry skin and dandruff (and subsequent itchies) are improving with a better diet but will need to maintain an intake rich in omega 3.

Meeting new dogs and people can be a bit daunting to him, he does like to growl and bark until he knows they won't harm him. He doesn't really want to share his bed either, so if you are seeking a friend to keep your current dog company - that's not really Jameson. He much prefers his human and will shadow them everywhere.

Jameson's cuddles and antics melt any bad days away, he can be quite hard to resist. If he could surgically attach himself to his bonded human, he would. He spins in circles when excited and has just started learning the joy that toys can bring, seeing his tail wag and eyes brighten absolutely makes your day.
