Hi, my name is Hunie and I am a sweet, gentle, older girl looking for my forever home. My foster carers say I am the best dog they’ve met, because I have such a sweet nature.

Most of the time I like to chill around my foster family, but do enjoy going for walks. I love a nice run around although I don’t always want to go back on lead (especially when I am having a good time or something gets my interest). But we can work on that together because I really am a good girl and love to please. Don’t believe what people say about old dogs and new tricks, I just take a little longer. I am very well-mannered; I can sit, stand, stay, drop and come.

I am friendly with people and have no problems with children, although I am best with bigger kids. After all I am 34kgs - a big girl, and I might accidently knock a little one over. At home, I always welcome visits from friendly dogs when we are properly introduced.

I am carrying a little extra weight and need to continue my exercise but that gives us time together to build our beautiful relationship and so I can learn all about you. I am easy to look after as I need little grooming. I am happy and enjoy life especially with my humans.

I am a true indoor/outdoor dog. I never dig, bark, growl, snatch at things or chase wild birds. I don’t jump fences nor do I destroy furniture. I don’t rush at gates/doors or jump up on people. I know my place and my manners, and I am fully house trained.

I LOVE pats and will roll over for a tummy rub at any time. I am enjoying laying on my mat each night to keep carers company and watch TV .

I am untested with thunderstorms, cats and birds.

My ideal would be to have people who are at home most of the time with secure 5ft fencing, a nice comfortable bed, daily interaction with my forever family, and ongoing training and walks.

In short, I am a quiet lady who just looooves being a good girl. I am a great companion. Do you think you could love me?
