Glassie is a dog of pure affection. She loves her cuddles and snuggles (especially belly rubs)
and will give you some gentle paw reminders to keep them coming. She is a little sweet
goofball at heart.
She is toilet trained and can easily be left alone for a few hours if needed, although
preferably would like her humans around more often than not as that is what makes her happy. She would be best suited to a family with older children (if any) as she can often forget her manners and size when being excited about playtime.

Glassie is a joy and pleasure to walk on a lead. She thrives on positive and patient
encouragement so this is a must. She hasn’t been fully tested with other dogs so would
need support and ongoing socialisation training. Ideally she would have a medium/large size
yard to run about and play in.

When she came into foster care she had some prior health conditions, mainly of which was
an enlarged tumour on her back right foot. This has been successfully removed and fully
healed so no longer impacts her mobility. She has been given the clear of being cancer free
but advised to have ongoing monitoring for any lymph node flare ups.

Overall Glassie is very laidback but also loves her walks and playtime. She absolutely loves to snuggle and give kisses which she appreciates in return. She will try to sleep in the bed but is very well behaved and listens when it’s time to jump off. She can be a bit timid but through positive and patient encouragement this little girl thrives. She will be your shadow wherever you go with a smile on her face.

Glassie is a sweet, friendly, beautiful and affectionate girl that deserves all the cuddles and love she can get. Not tested with cats.
