About Serena
Not cat tolerant
SERENA IS LOOKING FOR HER FUREVER HOME
Serena is such a dream girl.
She is friendly and loveable with everyone she meets. She is intelligent and inquisitive, loves toys, and also shoes if they are left lying around.
She is very playful once she settles in, and would benefit from a canine companion if you are away from home more than a few hours a day. She would not suit a high energy dog though.
She is confident but not bossy.
She gets on well with both male and female dogs.
She will allow you to gently trim her nails, brush her teeth and pop on clothes when its cold.
She loves her food but is not possessive or aggressive, nor does she resource guard as she is happy to share. Chicken necks are becoming her favourite, and she loves treats. Dont leave any food out as it will quickly disappear off the coffee table.
She goes outside to toilet, and is learning to use the doggie door. Then she will have a wander around the garden and come back in. She is definitely an inside girl.
She loves to go on walks either on her own or with a group. She likes to lead but is soon distracted by all the great smells in the park. She still needs some encouragement to jump in the car, but that will come with time, and she enjoys the ride once shes in.
She has tried the sofa a couple of times but seems to prefer her greyhound beds. She loves to sleep in the bedroom near you, but has not attempted to jump on the bed.
Steps are still a problem for her but we are getting there. We have not met any young chldren yet, but may suit a family with children 6yrs +.
Serena is a medium sized 2 year old blue girl. She has cute white patches on her chest and feet and a kiss of white on her nose.
She would be best suited to a loving family or retirees who are home mostly.

All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status.
