About Lucy
What a stunner!
Lucy is a 6 mth old Kelpie x who wants to be everyones friend.
Lucy loves to run with another dog, play tug and fetch balls.
Lucy wasn't interested in water when introduced. Loud noises can startle her but with encouragement of tasty food she can normally be distracted.
Lucy is living in a home with 3 other working breeds and has shown she can run with them or chill when they do.
This little girls world has been turned upside down in the last month and I have observed that Lucy has shown signs of resource guarding food and occassionally people. I believe when she has settled into a routine with a new family that these issues will lessen with persistence and continuity of training.
Lucy sleeps in a crate of a night or for down time if encouragement is needed.
Lucy had been picked on by larger dogs and now will snap when unsure or if not introduced properly. Lucy has only been introduced to living in a home environment but is 95% toilet trained.
Lucy seems to have separation anxienty. She will follow her human where ever they may go. With ongoing training, routine and a stable dog we are hoping this will help settle it.
We want Lucy to go to a family that are experienced with working dogs and also have another playful but trained dog that can help Lucy learn dog language.
Lucy is located at Werrington Downs.
