About 💙Tilly💙
If you are looking for an affectionate, little ball of blue fur that loves pats and cuddles, then you've found me! My name is Tilly and I'm a 9 yr old British Blue. Despite my sophisticated breeding, I am a truly a down to earth cat - I'm calm and quiet, and I'm just obsessed with face scritches. At 3.9kg, I'm petite for a British, but I'm a dense little loaf on short stumps! My coat is gorgeous, but needs to be brushed regularly - which I love!
My ideal home would be quiet and calm - like me - and I wouldn't suit a family with young kids as they have really stressed me out in the past. I do get on with other cats but I'm shy at first and would like to avoid any that are too intense! I should be introduced to other cats S-L-O-W-L-Y so I don't get too nervous. But I would happily accept a home of my very own though.
Once I am home I will probably hide at first, as I'm pretty shy, but as my confidence grows, so will my love for my humans! As long as my humans respect me and allow me to settle in at my own pace I will show them that I am curious and will start to explore the house. Despite my age, I am the picture of health. In the past I have had issues with constipation (TMI, I know) but as long as I drink enough and am offered good quality wet food on a regular basis this won’t be a further issue. Anyway, I need to get back to my nap, I’ll let the people in charge let you know how you can get in touch with me.
Tilly is in care in Maryville. She is available for adoption in Newcastle and the surrounding suburbs (including Sydney).
