I was surrendered to Lort Smith recently, as my owner was no longer able to provide me with the activity I so desperately need.

I am a very affectionate and tactile boy, and I love nothing more than lapping up pats and cuddles from my human friends. Because I love people so much, I will need to be inside the home where I can be with my family. I would also love a home where my new owners are around more often than not, as I don’t much like this being alone business.

I am super energetic, with lots of enthusiasm and love to play, so I am looking for an active home with an owner that can provide me with play time, daily walks, training and mental stimulation.

I can be more than a little cheeky at times, as I haven’t quite learnt how to properly walk on leash or politely interact with other canines. For these reasons, I will need a home where my carers will commit to working on building up on my skills by taking me to obedience training, and continue controlled calm interactions with known, friendly dogs.

Due to my over excitability, it would be best that I do not go to a home with younger children or other animals, as I need to be in a quieter and calm environment to be able to work on my manners.
