About Queenie
Meet Queenie..... A lovely, gentle girl who has had a tough start in life but is now ready to find a loving, forever home. Fortunately she was rescued from being a stray on the streets shortly after she gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens - when virtually still a kitten herself. She was a perfect mum and kept herself and her babies beautifully clean and always used the 'Cat Mate' litter tray with wood pellets. Sadly she developed a serious infection and had to be separated from her babies to have life saving surgery at Just Cats . After weeks of R&R she is fully recovered and in great condition.
Queenie is still learning to trust people and be confident in new environments but she will allow you to pick her up and loves a well supported cuddle. She will purr and head bump to Olympic standard if you join her at floor level and loves long back strokes. She is very food motivated she will leave you in no doubt when it's meal time. Queenie is low maintenance and is happy to just be in a room with you and loves bird watching from the safety of a window sill.
Queenie will settle beautifully after late supper and is well behaved and not demanding. She will make a beautiful companion. She is best suited to a quiet, calm home, without smaller children. She may possibly enjoy another adult cat for company. Queenie loves games with sturdy wand toys and will entertain herself with all kinds of balls. She loves those that make a noise. Come out and meet her at our Longford Adoption Centre
