All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Oscar is a sweet gentle boy still quiet shy, as he builds his confidence he does enjoy chin scratches and being petted he had a rough start to life fending for himself with no human interaction Oscar enjoys his food is a good litter box user he gets along with the other kittens in care with him and is enjoying a bit of attention now he has no nasty behaviour he will just avoid you if worried then as he feels safe he comes for attention he is a really sweet boy just waiting for the right patient home Oscar has had his big boy surgery and a vaccination wormed and flea treated
My Ideal Home:
Oscar will need an inside home and one that is semi quiet till he settles in with a fur friend would be good as he gets confidence from the more confident kittens here in care
What is Known About My Background:
Oscar was found wandering the streets with his mum and siblings they were caught in a trap and dropped off at a rural shelter where he spent over a month till we could take him into care
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Oscar is wonderful with cats is scared of our dog we will work on that with him and he hasn’t met any kids as yet
Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
