ABOUT ZIGGY PUP

Playful and inquisitive!

Ziggy pup is a very affectionate chill dude. He loves showing how much he cares by greeting you with a little dance and waggy tail. One of his absolute favorite things is to play fetch and after have a good snuggle.

OBEDIENCE Ziggy is a young pup full of love and life. He is learning to sit when told and comes when he's called. He loves running in the yard with us and playing with his foster sister. We are training him to walk on the lead, not jump up when he's excited and he is getting better and better with encouragement. He enjoys spending time with his foster fur sister or just hanging around the backyard, any human interaction is great. We found that chew toys are his favorite.

ENRICHMENT Ziggy rarely barks. When he does it's to let you know that something is nearby that seems off (like a cat on the neighbours roof). He loves human interaction and company. Ziggy loves to chase balls and needs a good run around of 45/60 mins every day. He is learning to swim and is getting more confident in the water every morning.
SOCIALISATION Ziggy loves playing with other dogs. He has shown a playful cheeky affection side and is happy to sit or follow us around. And if there's another dog he will be happy too.

IDEAL HOME: Ziggy Pup would thrive in a home with a family that is active and has a love of life. He happily entertains himself when left alone and he would love a playmate. Ziggy is still learning to be house trained and will need to be shown where to do his business so he knows and timed reminders so he understands given his age. His family will need to be patient and invest time in him and ensure he has daily enrichment because he loves affection. Ziggy is very loving and would love to live with a family that loves cuddles and can exercise him daily.

BEHAVIOURAL NOTES:
Ziggy Pup is still a puppy and displays puppy behaviour. It is highly recommended, that regular training become a part of his daily routine.
