About Ruby
Ruby is the precious gem you’ve been looking for. Gentle, loving and friendly are just a few of the outstanding traits that’ll make you fall head over heels in love with her.
Ruby’s love for life and her friendliness is endearing to see. She’s always keen to meet new people and animals alike. Ruby is very obedient, house-trained and likes her daily walks. Her favourite things are her stuffed toys and her old bones. She enjoys her cuddles and loves lying near her family or her toys in her downtime.
On a typical day, she wakes up around 6 AM and has a sniff around the house before having breakfast. As soon as she senses the fam is up, she wants to be loved and cuddled. A quick play is a great way to start her day. When the fam isn’t around, she likes to stay active with food games or a large bone.
She usually snoozes until lunchtime and likes an activity or challenge afterwards. She goes on walks in the morning and the afternoon. Ruby then comes inside for a game or a cuddle. She spends her time both inside and outside.
When strangers or dogs are behind the fence, she’ll excitedly bark and say ‘hello’. Even though she looks like an excellent guard dog, she’d do a terrible job at it - she’ll happily jump all over them and ask for cuddles. Anyway, this is a well-kept secret.
This social girl is fantastic with kiddos; she’s been around them since she was a pup. She can be jumpy and excited, so this is something to be mindful of. Ruby lived with a big dog, and they got along very well. She’s great on a leash and loves meeting new doggo friends (and bush turkeys) on her walks. Ruby hasn’t been exposed to cats.
Ruby’s one requirement is that you love her, and she’ll do anything you ask!

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
