About Bowie
Meet the most handsomest of all the boys, Balboa … or Bowie, boo boos, bugulugs, stinky minky - anything said in a high pitched baby voice really.
Bowie is an energetic, playful, fun loving little (big) boy who enjoys nothing more than a good old fashioned tummy rub, run in the park and night time cuddle on the couch. He is very affectionate and although big in size, he is great with children and other dogs. Bowie is looking for his forever home, preferably one with a loving family and big backyard to stretch and run about.
Although he is very (very very) loved by his current mum, her small inner city apartment has unfortunately not grown in size, whilst Bowie certainly has! Feeling stressed and anxious with little room to play, Bowie would thrive in a big backyard with ample play time and places to explore.
Balboas future forever family really are very lucky! Apart from his dashingly handsome looks Bowie is such a loyal, well behaved, obedient boy. Knowing all his commands, Mr B is extremely good at sitting, waiting, high fiving and rolling over. He is also super intelligent, picking up new tricks and working out stimulation toys in almost record speeds.
He is very food motivated and will do almost anything for a bit of chicken or a cheeky chip from the table. He is also such a flirt, wanting pats from almost everyone he walks past on his morning walks.
Currently Bowie goes on two, one hour walks a day and a big play in the park before dinner, so his forever family must be looking for a dog that they won’t mind staying active with.
Bowie might be a big boy but he is still a puppy at heart, often cheeky in nature. He needs someone who will reinforce their authority and remind him who’s boss. He currently sleeps inside, snuggled up in his bed next to his mum’s big bed. Occasionally he tries to sneak jump up onto the bed at night, as he loves nothing more than to be little spoon - although his mum soon remembers why he has his own bed (his farts are lethal) and puts him back onto the floor.
Bowie’s current mum is devastated to have to give him up. Her only wish is that he goes to his final forever family, is loved with all their hearts and treated like the angel and blessing that he is to all those he meets. If this sounds like you then fill out our adoption application form from our website as the next step in the process.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
