About Whisper
Chance and Whisper
Names given to them from the public when we shared their story after our slogan - where every cat that even has a whisper of a chance - gets a chance.
They arrived to us with an extreme case of cat flu - feline herpes virus and ringworm, they were in terrible condition and were unable to eat on their own. They needed our care around the clock. They where placed into our critical care unit requiring oxygen, warmth and isolation.
Chance and Whisper had a sister who sadly did not make it, she lost her battle 3 weeks after arriving into our care.
The boys turned a corner 5 weeks in and started accepted food via a syringe - they where finally on the mend.
This was a massive rescue case that had myself and Tess working around the clock trying to save them with 11 in total that arrived from the one property all in Critical condition.
With Many tears and anguish shed we are now so happy to see them recovering well but it has certainly been a long road.
Whisper and Chance are searching for a special home - together would be amazing but we are open to separating them also.
Both boys may require more eye surgery in the future, however our first goal is to find them a safe, loving home first so that once they are settled and happy we can do eye surgery knowing they will have a place filled with love and attention in a low stress environment for a successful recovery.
Any eye surgery will be done at Just Cats with no Costs involved.
Both boys are full of energy and love to play, they are happy and well socialised, they are both extremely affectionate - in fact they are a little in your face at times because they crave attention and love people so much - perhaps it is their way of saying thank you
The sound snuffly and this will be the case as they have some permanent damage to their Nasal passage but other then some snorting and snoring it does not bother them, you may need to wear ear plugs if they keep you awake at night
We have a very big bond with these boys and their home is going to have to be the best of the best - please - if you believe you can offer them a home with the most love possible - come visit them, get to know them - I promise you will fall in love and in return they will fall in love with you too
They are now at our Longford Adoption Centre ready to shower you with attention.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
