About Hugo and Harvey
Hello everyone .. we are the handsome duo, brothers Hugo and Harvey.
We excel at snuggling, lap warming, keeping you company and provide hours of entertainment with our antics.
We are a bit nervous around new people and places but gain confidence very quickly if our humans are close by and reassure us.
We love walking on quiet street / places where there is not a lot of movement as we are reactive. With patience we can improve in this area. We don’t mind meeting new smaller doggy friends but not to sure about human toddler or small children. They are too noisy and busy for us. We do have perfect recall and get back on track very quickly.
From FM - Hugo and Harvey are amazing little boys. The snuggliest playful kissyest brothers out. They are toilet trained, however they are not keen to get their paws wet.
They can keep themselves entertained with toys and playing with each other, but also play interact with adults.
They do not like to be left alone for a long period and can be vocal.
The ideal forever home for them will be with a family that is home a lot. Older children are acceptable according to them because that means more cuddles.
Medical notes
Hugo and Harvey have been desexed and microchipped. They are both up to date with C5 vaccination (due in December 2022) and flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention. They have had full bloods done with no significant findings and also tested negative for heart worm.
Hugo has recently had a dental and didn’t need any extractions. Harvey lost five teeth at his dental, but has recovered well.
Both boys have mild bilateral patella luxation, but it causes them no issues at this stage, however it may present a problem in the future. We recommend starting them on a joint support supplement to help them as they age.
Hugo also has an allergic skin condition on his legs and the medication Apoquel has been helping a lot. He will need to continue on this for now.
