About Billie
Billie is a super sweet, very affectionate, 8 month old black & white short haired Border Collie girl. Billie came into our care diagnosed as being fully deaf and unable to pursue a career as a working dog on her farm.
Billie requires a special family who have the time and patience to continue her training and accommodate her special needs. Although, at times, Billie has made some slight indications she may have a tiny amount of hearing, it would be very limited at best.
She is fantastic with children and adores playing, walking and cuddling with her small human foster siblings. She also happily interacts with older dogs in the household.
Billie happily free ranges with chickens. She is toilet trained, walks well on a lead, Billie is still learning some basic commands but is very polite and gentle with her food. Billie can get a little nervous in the car but once driving she settles down nicely.
Billie would love a home with another dog that can help to guide her and where she is an integral part of her families day to day life. She would love her people to be around more often than not. Experience with Border Collies, deaf dogs, or a proactive attitude to learn how best to continue Billie's development, will be an advantage.
If you have a place for gorgeous Billie in your life and home, then please apply today!

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
