About Charlie Farley
I am tying a new home to see if i like it. Little charlie farley has had a somewhat sad life. Having lost his first owner to terminal illness, he then found a new home with a lady who loved him but sadly passed away in july. Charlie’s life was thrown into chaos and, having moved around some temporary homes, he ended up living on acreage as an outside dog and with larger dogs who did not welcome him at all. He would have been very miserable, missing his mum and going from being a treasured companion to life in a barn. Shih tzu type dogs are completely unsuitable for this life and his coat had become very matted in the process. Charlie farley had an emergency groom to the skin last weekend when he arrived and is settling in to his foster carer’s home. If you had to score a dog on behaviour and personality, she says charlie is wonderful and gives him '11 out of 10' he’s an extremely clean boy and uses the doggy door when he needs to go out. Charlie loves to go for walks and is very playful, throwing toys in the air and play bowing. His doggy foster brothers and sisters find him an easy companion as he causes no issues but just curls up in a sheepskin bed and hasn’t barked once. He has been very concerned when his foster mum goes out and wondering if she’s coming back but he is learning that she can be relied upon to return. Charlie will only be rehomed to a very stable environment where he will be adored and have another dog to play with as he deserves nothing less. Charlie has a high maintenance coat that will require regular grooming and he is a house dog that must be allowed access to the house at all times. Charlie farley comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention for the special adoption fee of $150 and is not available for adoption outside nsw.
