About Jack
Jack is a gorgeous 5 year old Toy Poodle looking for a home with an active person, couple or family with teenage children.
Jack is a very friendly and smart little boy. He sleeps inside his crate each night, eats on command, is house trained (although might do the odd excitement wee) and is very obedient.
Jack is great on lead and will get his own lead for you. He might sniff hello to other small dogs but will shy away from large dogs.
Loves everyone and loves to play with his toys especially squeaky toys.
He needs a securely fenced yard as he has no road sense and is like jack flash if a gate is left open! He would not suit apartment living.
Jack is good if left home alone but may bark if stimulated by people or dogs (especially large dogs) in neighbouring properties.
Jack has never lived with young children and has been the only pet.
But we feel he could live with another smaller female dog.
Jack can be possessive of his things or things he thinks are his, that are left on floor etc
This can be in his training 😊
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need Website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. My emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
