Calling all Staffy Lovers - This is Roxy! A 4 year old English Staffy, Roxy holds all those typical Staffy traits that make them amazing pets. This little 14kg keg on legs is extremely affectionate and will stop at nothing to get her next pat or scratch.
Roxy is social with other dogs and loves playing tirelessly with her younger and larger foster fur brother or with other dogs that she meets out and about. She loves laying with toys, balls, chasey and tug o war! Staffies are renowned for their playfulness but also their sensitivity and Roxy is no different with her favourite thing being to cuddle up with you on the lounge….while you pat her some more.
Roxys furever home will need to be familiar with the breed or be committed to her training as Roxy is extremely excitable and friendly and needs further impulse control training as she is often too enthusiastic to greet people calmly. She walks well on the lead and has good recall to her name. She even sits for her dinner in the evening. The training she has is great…. She just needs help with greeting people calmly rather than like a 14kg wrecking ball. If you know staffies… you know what I’m talking about. The love just overflows from her.
Roxy is toilet trained and currently sleeps inside and has full access to the house with no incidents. She really only barks when playing with other dogs only cries when she knows you’re home, but can't get inside to you.
Because Roxy loves company her perfect home would be someone who is home more often than not and she has to be an inside dog for the majority of the time. She could also love for someone to be able take her on regular walks or to the dog park.
Roxy’s classic Staffy traits continue with dry and irritable skin. She takes a tablet daily for it but otherwise she is one happy healthy pup looking for a loving forever home.
Since Roxy is very excitable and will jump up to kiss small children, so we are recommending her furever home not have children under 10.
