About Baz
This is little Baz (Barry). He’s around 4-5 months old, we’re not exactly sure.
He is SUCH a cutie! He adores other dogs, is super happy ALL the time and exceptionally bright.
Baz would be an amazing dog for a property, agility or fly ball. He’s quick, agile, alert and focused - even at his young age. He’d excel as a working dog but only if he’s also a big part of the family. He definitely needs other dogs around, he is just beautiful to watch with them! He’s happy to share food, a bed and games with them.
Baz will, whichever home he chooses, need someone who knows the breed well. They will need the time and effort to ensure he gets tonnes of exercise, socialisation and mental stimulation. He’ll need room to run and the training/activities to continue stimulating his intelligent mind.
We won’t let Baz go to a small yard in suburbia or an apartment. We also will want a home for him where he has at least one other friendly dog to play with. Another working breed is ideal, but any active, friendly dog may suit.
Baz is currently located on the NSW Central Coast. He is yet to have his vetwork finalised so can’t leave for a new home until then. However, he can meet potential adopters now.
Medical notes
Baz has a slight kink in his tail from an old injury, before he came into our care. It doesn’t seem to bother him at all.

* Rent or own your home? Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties outlining that dogs are allowed. Our dogs and pups will only be adopted to homes where they are allowed inside to be part of the family. Real Estate approvals must state that this is permitted.�
* Opportunities for socialization outside the home? Whilst some of our dogs are best in only dog homes, most of our dogs have been provided with lots of socialisation and will need this to be ongoing.
* Work commitments? How long will the dog be on their own? �
* Why do you think this breed will be suitable for you? Breed type experienced owners will generally be given priority.
* Will you allow this pooch to live both inside and outside as part of the family? �
* Yard check will be done to confirm you have a fully fenced secure yard and adequate shelter when the dog or pup is outdoors.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family. He/she will be desexed,1st and 2nd vaccination, microchiped, wormed and flea treated regularly and a health check done by our vet .
