About Huey, Dewey and Louie
Please meet Huey, Dewey and Louie, three cheeky boys who will give you many giggles when they zoom around their cage and hide in the hay and tunnels. They enjoy capsicum,cos lettuce and carrot but will try any food given to them. They will need plenty of hay to help keep their teeth trimmed.
As they have so much baby energy, Huey, Dewey and Louie are unsuitable for children under 12 years old. They will need a home with no ramps or C&C grids, as they can easily fall and will fit through the gaps. They will also require regular grooming to keep their long hair clean and tangle free. Fleece bedding or similar is preferred. They must be adopted together as they are a bonded trio.
Adoption details
Qld Guinea Pig Refuge holds open days at the Albany Creek Scout Den in North Brisbane on the first and third Saturday of each month. All adoptions require pre-approval and your application form should be submitted for processing at least two days prior.
The adoption fee for our guinea pigs is $25 each. Desexed guinea pigs are $35 each. They come fully health checked; worm and mite treated; and have been living at their foster carer’s house where they receive handling time.
