Everyone meet Butch. Even though this handsome guy is still relatively new on the scene, Butch has settled into foster care life seamlessly and will no doubt, transition into his new forever home just as quickly.
Butch is a heartbreaker with the ladies.. the 4 paws and 2 feet kind. He is excellent at invading your personal space for cuddles, (what is personal space?) and for also giving you the famous looooong face when he has been exiled out the door.
His hobbies include, but not limited to; curling up on the floor beside your feet whilst your watching television.
Butch always likes to be close with his human whenever he is allowed the opportunity - so he will need to go to a home where he’s allowed inside. He also does have separation anxiety so would be best in a home where his human is home most of the time, and ideally a doggy friend for company - or he will go looking for company. Another dog is not 100% necessary if his human is home much of the time and willing to crate him when out.
Butch is still a big puppy at heart and although he is not the most energetic fella, he will still let you know he wants to play by attempting to pinch random things from inside the house. He is a very cheeky, playful boy indeed. Squeaky toys are literally the bestest invention ever, & don't even get him started on Tug-O-War!
Butch is no stranger to basic commands and is certainly getting better every day. He is currently understanding what it means to 'Shake'.
He walks very well on a lead for a dog of his size and his physique however he's not perfect and can still be a bit reactive to outside stimulus such as other dogs (pure excitement) and bikes etc.
Overall, Butch would make a lovely addition to any lucky family. He has a very 'Happy-Go-Lucky' attitude to most things and would be suitable to most homes where a human is home most of the time. If you're looking for a best friend who's up for just about anything, Butch maybe the hound for you!
Butch is $250 to adopt, desexed, microchip, C5 vaccinated, and given flea tick and worm preventatives.
