About Caspian
What a showstopper!
Caspian is going to be a real head turner wherever you go. Her coat is so gorgeously smooth and you get captivated by her amber liquid eyes. Caspian is a darling little pup who loves cuddles. She is bright and bubbly in personality and naturally curious. Capsian is a very social puppy who is always keen to meet new people and dogs. She is relatively confident and loves to jump in the car to go out on adventures to see what else is out there in the world.
She is currently in care with her brother McKinley and a number of dogs of varying sizes and ages. This little one enjoys playing with the other dogs and wrestling with her brother. Caspian is expected to grow into a large breed dog (we are thinking in the vicinity of 30-35kg) and will need ongoing appropriate socialisation to ensure that she remains the confident and happy girl that she is. She will also need substantial daily exercise as she grows up and a home that is able to mentally fulfil her as well.
Caspian has begun her basic training while in her foster home. She has learnt to sit and is quite quick to pick up new commands. Caspian is definitely food motivated so this makes training fun and rewarding. Like any young puppy, she will have so much more to learn. Her new owners must be thoroughly committed to her ongoing training, and this must extend well beyond just attending puppy school. Caspian will also need patient and controlled exposure to busy environments as she is currently living in a quiet area. She is crate trained and coming along well with her toilet training.
We are looking for a dog experienced home where Caspian will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. She will need a home with another medium to large playful dog or where someone is home more often than not to ensure her needs are met. Caspian should be allowed inside to be with the family and have a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside at night. She would be suited to living with children who are dog savvy and old enough to partake in training activities – she is definitely still coming into the age of chasing running children and jumping on them or being mouthy so the whole family would need to be on board with training. Caspian has already started to show interest in chasing the chickens at her foster home so appropriate training would be required for her to live harmoniously with other types of pets.
If you would like to make this stunning girl a part of your family then the next step will be to complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry Form on the Fetching Dogs website.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
