Looking for that missing piece to the puzzle? Are you ready to meet your new BFF?
Hello new family! My name is Finn, I am a 3 year old 32kg Greyhound who has had a rough start in life and I am looking for someone special to give me my forever home.
My ideal person would be someone who is experienced with dogs and will understand my quirks.
I am now living in a home and love it! I never want to go back to living outside, I enjoy roaching around the house far too much. Between my nap times I will seek out my human for as many pats as possible. I LOVE cuddles. The more attention I can get the better, I’m a very affectionate boy. Oh, did I also tell you how much I love squeaky plush toys! They make such a cool noise & they are so cute! You know… just like me ;)
When I am eating I prefer to be left alone, I’m not used to sharing eating space with others and get worried my food may be taken away. I am getting better but will need to be fed separately if there are other dogs in the house until I warm up to them. If you have any children please don’t let them play with my food. I love playtime however my mealtime is a very sacred part of my day which I take very seriously.
I am fully toilet trained and will let you know when I need to go, but as I’m a big softy, I don’t like the rain so you may have to give me a bit of encouragement to go outside when the weather is bad. After my last toilet trip for the night, I enjoy a nice roach on my bed (or foster mum's couch) and will hold my bladder until it’s the morning.
I have been learning to play nicely with my greyhound and whippet foster siblings and our toys. This is all very new to me and sometimes I get scared that things may get taken away from me so I will guard them just in case.
My favourite thing in the world is going on walkies! As soon as I know I’m going for a walk you may mistake me for a bucking bronco! But within a couple of minutes of leaving the house my craziness goes. This is my favourite part of the day when I get to spend quality time sniffing around with my human! My foster mum has been teaching me how to heel and wait. I am a very good boy at walking on the lead with beautiful leash manners. I’m not phased by larger dogs but can get too interested in smaller dogs.
I am a very good boy and I have been working on my house manners. I am very eager to please and for the right human I will be your best friend.
