Frankie

Meet Frankie - this man is the king of the house. He loves getting spoiled and spending time with his humans. He has expectations of things going his way, but he'll reward his owner with adoration, loyalty and love. He's happy to mingle when there are visitors, making himself comfortable on his choice of lap.

His favourite things are lying in the sun, catching mice and sleeping on your lap. Like most cats, he likes to sleep a little higher (to survey his kingdom). However, he'll also happily hop under the covers with you on a cold night and sleep comfortably. Frankie can be aloof when he's not in the mood for affection but mostly lays on your lap for most of the day. That's not to say he acts like a geriatric: he's very active and agile for a senior citizen.

Frankie has a relaxed temperament. He's an early riser and likes to have his breakfast in the earlier morning hours. Afterwards, you can find him lying in the sun or somewhere soft and comfy for the early part of the day. He often wanders into the yard and lays out there, as he has his own catflap and enjoys the freedom of coming and going when he chooses.

He's litter trained and has never had a problem inside; however, he prefers to go outside. Frankie has never lived with any other pets. He's moved house before, and this was not a problem. Unfortunately, his previous owners have passed, and he's missing them dearly.

Frankie is often quite a vocal cat. He'll make sure you know how he's feeling, whether he's annoyed, hungry or wants to come in or out. He can be a picky eater (king manners) and prefers sloppier food that he can lick. The vet says there's no problem with his teeth or gums. He needs some fresh, thinly sliced meat and likes dry food too.

Frankie must have a scratch post, even if he can go outside, or he'll try his claws on the furniture. It is best if Frankie's food bowls are elevated a little bit so that he's not bending his neck too much to eat, as he can regurgitate food. Since putting his bowls on a stand, he hasn't done this.

This king is looking for his new kingdom. He'll overload you with love and affection. Have you fallen in love yet?
