NOTE: You are unable to meet Zena until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Zena in person.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• To be allowed inside with my family
• I don't seem to have had much experience socialising with other dogs, so I need to be the only dog at home but I need a family who promise to help me learn to behave around other dogs. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE people so I'm happy to be the only dog and get all of your love to myself.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• I have previously lived with young children
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• NO CATS, I find them too exciting and will bark at them.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• No other dogs - I don't mind passing them and saying hi when out and about but I do not have much tolerance for them and need further socialising with them.
• Cats or small animals as I may find them fun to chase

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Gentle & placid
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Love to snooze on the couch
• Exuberant & full of beans

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I will require full basic training as I've had no training experience yet
• I am strong on the lead - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this
