Flix & Nini

Flix and Nini came into care quite sick, and took quite a while to thrive. They are now happy and healthy, and ready to find a new home together!

Flix is a sweet, bright, inquisitive girl. She is very playful and super snuggly, and has quite a big purr when she gets snuggled. She is smaller than her brother, but she loves her cat and dog foster family. She can be a bit timid when meeting new people, but warms well over time.

Nini is a high maintenance teddy bear. He is incredibly chill. Madly playful but will purr within moments of being cuddled.

Nini is very, very chill. He has no awareness of potential danger. He absolutely MUST be kept indoors at all times! This requirement is non-negotiable unless you possess a cat-safe area such as a catio or cat run.
Nini is dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly. He loves everybody and everything. Nini and his sister, Flix, are a really bonded pair, and it would be really, really great to see them adopted together.

We are run by volunteers. We check enquiries daily and try to respond within 24 hours. If you want us to follow up, you can text the Cat Phone on 0415-241-211.
To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from Cat People of Melbourne. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
