Do you have a calm home with the structure and routine that would help your new canine family member settle and feel safe? If so then Sapphire might be just the dog for you. She is shy and playful but can be worried around new things. Make sure all interactions with her are positive and fun as she can be worried by, and will avoid, close handling and restraint. Having treats on hand should help as she loves food! Once she is more confident she can be a little silly and aroused in play so focusing on her training will be important. She would love to be allowed indoors as part of the family (older children please) and included in family adventures. She can also be quite silly and reactive when meeting other dogs but may cope with sharing her home with a calm social male canine friend. Sapphire would like to meet the whole family, dog included, at time of adoption.
