About Venus
Who wouldn’t love this whiskery face?
There’s something special about whiskery faces if you ask me.
Venus was born on 18/1/22 to a Kelpie mum and Smithfield dad (both family pets, not working dogs). She was surrendered when her family were passing through our town and were struggling with a litter of young puppies in a car with no air conditioning on a scorching day, whilst relocating interstate.
Venus is a real delight, a playful, cheeky, well socialised little girl who gets along with all the other dogs and pups in our home environment.
She’s been well handled since she arrived. Her temperament is calm and placid, with no signs of anxiety.
Because of the number of foster pups in my care, Venus has not been living in our home, she and the rest of the foster pups are residing in indoor kennels at night and spending days doing what puppies do best, exploring and playing in our large garden.
She’s the perfect age to begin formal housetraining and will go close to holding on through the night if she’s toileted last thing at night and first thing in the morning.
This breed combo will make a wonderful family pet for a family with children over 5 - pups of this age have generally discovered they’ve got teeth and often need guidance to use them appropriately and not bite feet etc. She should be reasonably active, intelligent and trainable. Venus would be a star at puppy pre school I think!
She has had two vaccinations, is microchipped and desexed.
Venus is located at Moree, NSW. We are about 6-7 hours drive from Sydney.
If you’re interested in adopting Venus, please send an email and tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer her, ie. who is in your family, their work hours, other pets, how you would include her in family life etc.
Medical notes
Vet checked, vaccinated and desexed.
