Ricki Lee

Ricki Lee is a beautiful Kelpie X girl, who is almost all black. She has been getting lots of admiring looks when she goes out on coffee outings with her foster family. She is a big snuggle-bug who loves nothing better than sitting beside you, putting her paw on your foot or trying to sneak up on the couch with her head on your lap. If a human friend is not available, she is happy to smooch up to a furry friend.

Ricki has been living with two foster sister working breed dogs and gets along well with them. She likes to play zoomies around the garden, hide and seek in the bushes and loves chew toys, squeaky balls, plastic plant pots and sticks of all sizes. When out and about she has been learning to walk on lead without pulling and staying calm when other dogs are close. She likes a slow introduction to other dogs and once she has hung out at a distance for a bit she is then happy to say hello and have a bit of a play.

There are no kids in her foster home but she seems to like the kids she meets on walks. She has not been tested off lead with cats. She is very food motivated and always wants to please her people. She has been responding well to some obedience training and learning to manage her strength and jumping ability. She would be a good candidate for agility training in the future!

Ricki Lee would love to have a home where she is included in family activities during the day and is allowed to cuddle up in the evenings, dreaming of what a wonderful life she is living! If Ricki Lee sounds like the dog for you, please get in touch!
