Rocket

Rocket is a super friendly, polite, playful and independent gentleman!

He is a very well-mannered boy, who loves his daily routine! Rocket looks forward to his daily walks, as they keep him mentally and physically healthy. He also knows when it’s time for his beloved food.

Rocket is very friendly towards other doggy friends and, with a gradual introduction, may be suited to living with another canine companion pending a successful meet and greet.

Rocket is highly food-motivated, which makes him a very trainable dog. When food is present, Rocket will do anything to please his humans, even when it comes to things he is not 100% comfortable with. He does not enjoy being touched on his legs or paws when being pet, but if his carers have a treat in-hand, Rocket will happily have his paws cleaned after strolling around in the mud.

He has lovely house manners, and responds well to training: when he knows how to please people he will. Also, although he loves his food, Rocket will wait until released to tucker in.

One of his favourite hobbies is to ride in the car with the window down and feel the wind on his nose!

Rocket does enjoy having his own space, and sees his bed as a space where he can spend time alone, taking himself off for snooze when he needs to. Dogs need to sleep about 16 hours per day, and he enjoys every minute of it! When not in his bed, he will be your shadow, personal trainer/exercise buddy and meal time taste tester.
