About Bailey
Hello there, I'm Bailey!
I'm a young gal who is full of energy and I looove playtime. I love chaseies with you or a ball and playing with water. I'm obsessed with anything water: from the hose to the sprinklers. You'll laugh when you see me doing a funny flop and rub on the ground (check out the video to see me in action!)
I also LOVE spending time with my humans and a nice cuddle and scratch behind my ears while I lay my head on your lap. I can't contain my excitement and let out funny little sounds to tell you how much I love it. I'm a smart gal who adores my Santa toy and my bones. I've been told I have a great sense of smell - I can follow my human's scent trail and love sniffing out the treats hidden around the garden for me to find. Any challenging enrichment toys are fun; they keep me mentally and emotionally satisfied. I do love walks, but I can be overly excited and reactive when I see potential new pals out and about.
Since I'm such a smarty pants and love food so much, I learn new tricks quickly. I know how to shake hands with my right paw and hi-five with my left! As soon as I know you have treats, I'm an angel and sit right away. I also know to sit and wait (when commanded) until the release word "okay" for my breakfast and dinner. I need some additional training, especially around my social skills. This being said, I'm a clever lass who will pick it up quickly.
I'm not fussy when it comes to food. I'll eat anything, really - biscuits and chicken frames are my favourites. I'm used to spending my time outside and love playing, walking, and exploring in the bush. I'll snooze if there's none of that exciting stuff going on.
I get along with some dogs, but sometimes I don't respect their boundaries and jump into playtime too quickly. I get on well with my other big dog friend, but I'm too boisterous for the small doggos I lived with. I haven't met any cats but have briefly met a rabbit (while supervised) which was extremely exciting.
I'm great with kids, but I'm looking for a home with older kids only so I don't bop any little ones over in my excitement. A home with secure fencing is a must for me.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
