MEET BERNADETTE! (Bernie)

Bernie is approximately 8 months young, she is a silver tabby, vaccinated x2, microchipped and awaiting her desexing, as soon as she is adopted she will be desexed. and YES you can change her name!

Bernie was born outside and lived with her mum and her siblings outside in the wild until 8 weeks old when she finally made it to our rescue. Bernadette had the flu when she came to us and has been on antibiotics to clear it up, she is now fully recovered.

Bernadette is a very very sweet loving little kitten, she LOVES to sleep in bed with you and will happily purr all night curled up on your chest. She is still shy with strangers, children and loud noises so it's important that her new home is understanding and gives her the time and patience she needs to settle back in and feel safe and comfortable. We can promise you once she has settled in, you will get to enjoy her beautiful loving nature too.

Bernie gets along well with other cats and currently lives with a variety of other foster kittens and cats and adores them all so she would very much like to go to a new home with another friend, alternatively you can adopt Bernadette alongside one of her foster mates (such as Aisha, also on PR) if you have room for 2! Bernadette is a wonderful young cat and has been a joy to foster, she will be sorely missed but deserves a home and a family all to herself.
It's important her new home does not expect too much too soon of Bernie and gives her all the time she needs to settle in and feel safe again as she will be timid and scared to start with, which is why we have a trial in place to give you peace of mind and ensure the match is purrfect.

- Bernie is still a growing kitten and as such she requires lots of toys and dedicated play time every day to keep her entertained, Bernie does prefer to cuddle up on your lap on the couch over playing with toys most days though! She also requires a good quality kitten diet, we recommend Royal Canin, Advance or a similar brand to help her grow to her full potential.
- Bernie is INDOOR ONLY for life, please only apply for her if this is suitable for your home. It is important she is kept safe for her life.
