About Zac
Zac is new to the rescue and we are still learning about this bouncing boys personality.
Very attached to his people he loves pats and flopping onto your lap for hugs. He knows is sit and is already toilet trained but consistent training is needed as he is easily distracted being still very much a pup.
He is a little jumpy at the moment but is learning quickly. At almost 6 months of age he still has the whole coordination thing to work out with his long legs just getting in the way of each other.
He plays well with other dogs and seems to love a good run. Zac through no fault of his own does have some separation issues we are working on but requires ongoing training.
Zac is looking for a home where he can be a part of your family, best friends with your shadow, someone he can crawl onto for love and movie nights.
Being an Alsatian cross he is a pretty smart kid and would flourish with someone wanting to train him up for tricks and manners.
At this stage he will be a medium to large dog.
Zac is available for meet and greets now and ready for adoption after 20th April.
If you would like to meet Zac please email the rescue at fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or pm the Silver Lining Pet Rescue Inc facebook page.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
