About Theodore
Hello there, I’m Theodore, a 4 month old kelpie cross who has a loving, cuddly nature.
I am a big sooky boy who rolls over for everyone I meet. Once I have warmed up a bit, I want to be with you all the time, preferably on your lap. I love cuddles and scratches and attention. I am also very playful and love to run! I have been thriving in a farm environment while in foster care, and I am very excited about goats. I have met 2 of the farm cats, but I got a bit nervous and barked a lot.
I have good recall when off lead, however I will need a family who is committed to my training, as I am still very much at a beginner level. This shouldn't be too hard though, as I am so eager to please you!
I would suit a home with another doggy friend, or a human who is home often. I am a clever boy so mental stimulation is a must!
If you are looking for a little fluffy shadow, please fill out an application form! Love, Theo xx
- - Please note, as Theo's sister displayed symptoms of Cerebellar Abiotrophy, early onset variety, we have tested the entire litter. Theodore has tested to have one copy of the marker for CA, meaning he is likely a carrier of the disease. This has no bearing on Theo's life, he will not develop symptoms and he will not be affected by the disease.
*Theo is located in NSW
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
