BEACH LOVING ADOPTER WANTED
Harry is a sweet natured and gentle girl. She can be timid in new situations and when meeting new people, but once she has settled in, her personality begins to shine. She is cheeky, loving and very playful.
Harry is a good natured girl who mostly walks well on leash, but can sometimes react to other dogs on leash, but with further training we believe this can be eliminated. Off leash Harry plays well with other dogs. Harry has been fostered with older small dogs, and whilst she is good natured, her need to play has been a little overwhelming for them.
Harry absolutely ADORES going to the beach, and playing in the water. She LOVES playing with dogs at the beach, running for balls and rolling in seaweed! Harry is happy to be hosed down or showered, then she is happy to sleep for hours! She is fine to be left at home for a few hours as long as she has another dog for company.
Harry would love it if you were home a lot as she loves her people, and loves to be included in all activities. She loves to use the doggie door, and enjoys the freedom that gives her to be inside or outside as she pleases. Harry is not a dog that will be happy to be left out in the yard. She must be included as part of the family.
Harry’s temperament is very calm for a puppy. She is eager to please and food and toy oriented, which makes training fun and effective. She is house trained and has learnt to sit, drop and wait.
Harry has completed a dog training course and as she is an intelligent girl, would benefit from ongoing training and doggie activities.
She does not resource guard, and is happy to share toys.
At this stage of puppyhood, she does love to dig, so award winning garden owners may need a sandpit. As she is still a puppy, Harry needs to chew, and must be provided with suitable toys!

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

We look forward to receiving your application.
