About Louis
Hi! I am Louis, but you can call me Louie! Unfortunately my family can no longer care for me, so they reached out to BVAR to find me a perfect new home. I was very loved & well looked after in my home, so my new family will need to take the best care of me as well.
Here is a bit about me. I am a very friendly dog that's well socialised with other animals, including dogs & cats. I live with dogs and would prefer a home with other dogs for company - I have never been alone and would prefer not to be. Like a lot of cattle dogs, I do require proper introductions when meeting new dogs, you know how much first impressions count! I do prefer male friends over female dogs.
I am a family pet, that loves a lifestyle where I am allowed inside the home to cuddle - I promise I am very well behaved. When my current family is not home, I am quite content spending my time outside.
I haven't had much experience with children. As I am still a baby myself, it is recommended that I am homed with older children, as although I am gentle and sweet, I can get a little excited at time. As always, children should be supervised around any dog. I love meeting new people, so I can't wait to meet all these possible families that may come to meet me!
I am a very well mannered dog that knows basic obedience and am easy to train. I walk well on a lead and am toilet trained. I will need a nice high and secure fence to keep me safe.

Please ensure all corresponding documentation, such as vet work for existing animals & lease agreements are provided with the completed application to avoid any delays
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
At the end of the two week adoption trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name.
