About Marli
Marli is a sweet natured 18 month old female Kelpie. She is gorgeous to look at, and has a temperament to match. Her foster family fell in love with her immediately!
Marli is affectionate, loves to snuggle up to anyone for a pat and a cuddle, but she is also quite energetic! She needs to be on the go and busy doing things with her humans. If you walk, run or hike, Marli could be your go to girl?!
Marli also loves other dogs, and plays very well with them.
Of course, she is not perfect, and so her forever people will need to commit to continuing the basic training she has had in foster care. She already sits, drops and mostly comes when called. She is not quite at the off leash stage yet, but will get there with patience and love.
Although she has not been in care with children, she would likely be fine with older kids, her excitement and energy may be a little much for smaller children. Based on her previous farm life, she does not go well with chickens and goats (and so likely also not with cats and small pets), she was ok with cattle though.
Marli is also very agile and can navigate across any obstacles like a true parkour champion, so a life in Dog Sports or Agility may be her calling!
If you have the time and energy for this gorgeous girl, then please consider Marli!
**Marli is located in VIC...
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
