About Urban
Hi, I’m Urban, and I want to be your full time shadow and best friend!
I’m suuuper excitable and my foster mum says I’m super loveable too. I’m a sucker for cuddles and will lap up pats at any chance I get.
My foster parents have been helping me get used to life as a pet. They bought me a cosy crate which I enjoy snoozing in at night and have even been teaching me how to use puppy pads! I love my foster family so much and follow them everywhere they go.
I haven’t been out in the big wide world much, but I can’t wait to explore it! I’ve only met a couple of other dogs so far at the vet and I was a little unsure of them, but my foster mum thinks I’d be okay if properly socialised. I may need some leash and command training with my new family too – I am a puppy after all!
I love people sooo much and I don’t really like it when I’m left at home alone. My foster pawrents say I’ve come a long way, but my new family will need to be patient with me as I get more comfortable on my own.
I’d love to live with a family that spend a lot of time at home with me as I really do live for cuddles and playtime with my humans!
I’ve got a big, big heart and now I just need someone to give it to! Could it be you? Apply to adopt me today!
Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I’ve learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I’ll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.
I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
