About Jake & Bella
Jake and Bella are definite indoor dogs. They are happy to spend the day snuggled under your desk or sitting by your feet. They are toilet trained and enjoy being able to come and go from the garden where they love to sniff around and sun bake.
Jake loves playing with bouncy balls and chew toys. He’s always looking for an opportunity to jump into your lap for pats and cuddles. He also loves his daily walks and will approach humans for pats but shows some typical lead pulling when he sees other dogs.
Bella has become a little shadow and will follow you everywhere. She enjoys pats and cuddles and loves going for her daily walks. She does have some separation anxiety so would prefer you to be home.
Both enjoy the freedom of running around a dog park. Jake will bark at large dogs and chase them around happily. Bella may play with smaller dogs but is pretty happy just exploring a park by herself.
They would suit someone who is home most of the time ( or happy to take them out with them) and happy to go for walks. They seem content towards kids as long as they are respectful and don’t show any obvious hatred of cats.
Jake is a small chihuahua x boy who weighs approx 5kg and Bella is a pug x Jack Russell terrier girl who weighs approx 10kg.
Adoption details
Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email par.adoptions@gmail.com if you would like further information.
Dogs and cats are rehomed on two weeks trial to ensure that both the person adopting them and the rescuer are satisfied that the dog / cat / animal is happy and adapting well to their new home and this can be extended on request
Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
