About Sigrid
Hey everyone, I'm Sigrid!
I am a super sweet gal who is so deserving of a loving home to call her own.
Sometimes I can be a little bit timid and shy, which has made my time at BARC a bit tough, But I am much more settled now and ready to start looking for a family to love and adore me.
I am looking for a quiet and calm home that can help me feel safe and comfortable and give me the time to come out of my shell. Ideally there would be no children, but I could definitely be best friends with a few teenagers.
When you first meet me, I will probably hide in my bed as it's my safe place, but I love it when my visitors come to my level and say hello t me where I feel safe, after a few moments I will usually come out of my bed and eat some bickies and have a little chat with you.
I would love it if my new home has some experience with shy cats, or have lots of patience and love to give me whilst I am settling in.
If you would like to come and meet me please call BARC on (03) 5441 2209 to make a booking.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
