Hello, world - this is Heidi!
This adorable little thing is like a treasure chest - she’s one of a kind, hard to find, and a challenge to open up. But once you’ve dipped your fingers in the gold, you’re filthy rich in love. It’s time for Heidi to go to the next step in her journey and find a warm, loving retirement home.
Heidi is loyal and loves cuddling up with her human. Once she trusts you, she’ll show you her bright colours. She likes sleeping on your bed, and she’s attached to her favourite blanket, which she’ll bring to her new home. This smoochy lady likes a good head/tummy scratch, preferably on your lap. She loves sitting in the sun on the window ledge, watching the world go by, and sleeping the day away. Heidi can be playful too and prefers females over males.
Heidi mainly spends her time indoors, but she does go outside through a cat door at times. She’s litter trained. Heidi is not used to other cats, pets or children. She previously lived with an older lady who passed, and she misses her dearly. Ideally, she’d go to an older person in a quiet household looking for a buddy and give her some TLC.
Medical notes
Heidi has been checked by the vet, including a blood test. A couple of results were slightly elevated due to her age, but they do not affect her. There’s no medication required and these papers can be forwarded to you.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
