About Sooty
Meet Sooty!
While Sooty was born on the streets, in a stroke of good fortune he was rescued along with his siblings at a very young age and has lived a wonderful life with his family in a loving indoor home. As he has grown more mature however, it is becoming clear that Sooty is quite stressed by the presence of the other cats in his home, although he has known them most of his life. His caring family are now looking to do the best thing for Sooty and find him a new home where he is the only cat.
Sooty is quite shy when meeting new people, but if given a little patience in the beginning he will flourish and show just how much love he has to give.
Once he has got to know you, Sooty will follow you around like a puppy as he forms a strong bond with "his" human, and will show how affectionate he really is. He loves pets and to snuggle into your knee when you sit and read or watch TV. He's happy to have his tummy rubbed and is happy to be touched anywhere apart from his chest, which he is a little uncertain of.
Sooty is and has been an indoor cat all his life, but he does love to snooze in a patch of sunlight and would a adore a spot in the sun in his new home.
Sooty definitely wants to be the only cat in the home and will be quite direct when he wants attention, meowing demandinly for pats when he is sitting on your lap! He is an all around lovely and snuggly cat.

Medical notes
Sooty has recently had a full health check as well as vaccination. He is in great health, although the vet mentioned he could do with loosing a few hundred grams! Sooty thinks this is outrageous and wants his new humans to make sure he will still get SOME treats, as he really loves those. :P
