Garfield is a sweet, cheeky, easy going 12 month old kitty.
Garfield came into care when he found himself in the local pound and facing euthanasia.
Garfield quickly settled into his foster home and became quite at home instantly.
Garfield has a very sweet nature, he loves to be patted and will always give a little Meow when cuddles are instigated. Garfield loves to snuggle up to any of his humans on the couch, will fall asleep and stretch right out for as long as you are willing to stay there.
Garfield loves playing with toys, almost as much as he loves food. Garfield will run around with his toy mouse in his mouth or will happily find something to tap around the house. Cardboard toilet rolls are another personal favourite.
Garfield loves nothing more than to hide in hallways of the house and jump out at unsuspecting passerby. This always ends in family laughter and more cuddles.
You will find Garfield, in the kitchen, at your feet at breakfast, lunch and tea time just in case something happens to fall his way. Be careful when opening drawers or cupboards, as these are fair game to Garfield who LOVES to hide in them.
Garfield loves to be part of the family and will sit on the couch to watch a movie or will sit on his own chair at the dining table, peering over the table whilst everyone is eating.
Garfield is litter trained and freely roams his foster home with no accidents to date. Garfield is happy to explore the house and find a chair to curl up on, when home alone and will quickly greet anyone who comes into the home.
Garfield is currently residing with a dog, who he is intrigued by and is happy to be around. Garfield is building up confidence to begin to play, but introducing Garfield to a boisterous dog would be difficult. Garfield prefers to be around calm dogs who give him the space and time to become confident.
Garfield is an absolute delight and a pleasure to have around, between the laughs, cuddles and play Garfield is an all rounder.
