Dolce

It’s time for our resident sweet girl Dolce to find her forever people. She may be small in size but she oozes personality and enthusiasm for life.

Dolce has it all! She’s beautiful, social and playful. She throws herself into her play, especially with her foster brothers - both whippets. She has such a sweet, fun-loving nature. She is in care with 3 dogs and a cat and gets along with them all. She enjoys playing with the big whippet so much her foster carer insists that she is rehomed with a friendly and playful doggie companion.

Dolce is super affectionate, in fact 'affectionate' should be her middle name. She loves nothing better than to jump up and snuggle into you on the sofa. She is also quite happy to do her own thing during the day if you’re busy.

Dolce is such a well-mannered little girl. She is learning her basic commands, is not a barker and sleeps through the night. She just loves her food so training is a breeze. Dolce can now confidently use a dog door and is toilet trained. She is full of energy so will need an active family to keep her happy. She is not suited to being a lap dog - she needs lots of outlets and stimulation.

Dolce has come from rural NSW, so needs an experienced handler to help her continue to navigate busier life out and about. She will need some training with walking on a leash - as she can be quite unsure of the pressure. On some trips in the car she has become anxious and drools so she does suffer some car sickness. Dolce doesn't like loud noises, and hasn't been introduced to young children. We feel an adult only home would be most suitable for this sweet pocket rocket.

We are looking for a loving home for the delightful and beautiful Dolce where she'll be part of the family and be included in their daily activities. She will require a home with another playful dog, she particularly loves the play and company of the whippets in her foster home. She will also need someone who is home more often than not to give her all the love she deserves. She must be allowed indoors and have access to a secure back garden. She will need to have a comfortable, warm bed to sleep in inside of a night. She does not suffer separation anxiety.

Whoever is lucky enough to adopt this beautiful, fun little girl will definitely have many enjoyable years to cherish with her.
