Hi there, I'm Gemma! I'm a sweet, shy girl looking to build my confidence. Once I find my feet, get ready for all the love I have to give!
I can't wait to meet you and see what my new home will be like. While my time here at RSPCA has been great I am eager to settle into a home environment with my ultimate human family.
I'm looking for a calm, patient and loving human who can read my body language when I'm feeling overwhelmed. I like to ease in with new people and environments. But once I'm reassured I am bubbly and affectionate and I promise you will love me just like I will love you! I can supply you with lots of cuddles and kisses and I do love a good lap to sit on.
I'm also pretty smart (if I do say so myself) and would love to impress you with my tricks, I promise I can give a pretty good sit and I'm pretty good on a lead!
Food is a big love of my life and I'm always keen to learn new things if it means having a tasty snack. Kongs and wobblers are great enrichment for me too! I can burn all that energy off with quiet, low-traffic area walks with my favourite people.
I would love to have some crate training so I have a safe place I know I can go to if I need a quiet escape. If I'm coming home I'll need secure, solid fencing, and kept indoors if there's no-one at home.

I'm one of those dogs that want to be the only fur baby in your life, so no other pets please! I'm a little uncertain about small humans as well so I'd have to check if I like my future small children siblings.
