About Ned
Hi I'm Ned. I am a clever, well-mannered and affectionate tricolour Border Collie mix, born 30 September 2020. My foster mum says being a border collie explains everything you need to know about me, whatever that means. I think that it means I am simply awesome.
I'm clever and eager to learn.(check out my video). I know not to bark at the horses through the fence at my foster home but I do love to chase things that fly or run. Small fluffy things remind me too much of sheep so I just can't resist. If my foster mum or dad call me I'm quick to come back to them to see what I am meant to do.
I tend to pick my favourite person and I am happy to be their shadow wherever they go around the house and yard but I'm also cool to stay outside with a friend if I need to. I need something to keep me occupied whether it is a job to do, a long walk or just some games and things to see. I went to dog obedience with my foster family and I was the star of the show but boy was I tired afterwards from concentrating for all that time.
I think my ideal home would be with someone who has a big backyard and is around most of the time. Maybe with person who is retired or works from home that way I can follow you around or chill out with you with whatevrr you are doing. I don't mind a puzzle toy or two.
I wouldn't mind a friend but am also happy enough without one if you let me hang out with you everywhere, I don't like to be left alone for a long time.
As always, secure fencing is essential.
My adoption fee is $450 and I am desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
