Oscar needs a home with secure fencing, no livestock/horses, pocket pets or cats please

Oscar is a sweet little guy looking for an active household to spend his days with.

His favourite activities are playing with toys - he's a big fan of fetch and tug! He gets very excited when playing and is high-energy at these times. However, he understands that play time is over when toys are put away and he is learning to play by himself - but he'll always favour you playing with him!

Oscar enjoys going out for walks and runs, and his mix of Jack Russell and likely an Italian Greyhound make him a speedy little guy! Oscar walks well on the lead, although does like to walk ahead, and he enjoys saying "hi" to other dogs, but is also happy to walk on by.

Oscar is a happy little dog that loves spending time with his people. He can be a little nervous and shy in certain situations, and he looks to his people for reassurance at these times.

Oscar is good at relaxing in the daytime and will snuggle up with you in the evening. Oscar has been allowed to be on the furniture, so you'd need to be OK with this.

He sleeps in his bed on the sofa. Oscar has shown signs of confinement anxiety therefore would not like to be shut in a room, but he understands boundaries of being shut out of certain rooms and he settles well at night and waits for you to get up in the morning.

He is OK when left during the day and he is housetrained.

Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone.
