About Praline
Praline is one of a first litter of a cat called Lily who was left behind when the owners moved. Both young cats had their own litters as well. Why Mummy Lily was abandoned, we don't know because Lily is an outstandingly lovely and affectionate cat, and so are all her kittens. Lily and her quickly growing family were fed by caring neighbours who called us in to help when it got to the third generation. Why didn't they call us sooner? Kids at school had told this caring family's children that if the cats were handed in, they'd be killed. The children of the family were very upset, but eventually agreed that it was best for Lily and her family to be rehomed responsibly as they couldn't look after all of them. So that's how Praline came into care with Cat People of Melbourne!
Praline is a subtly gorgeous grey tortoiseshell. She's still building her confidence with people (she had her kittens under the finding family's deck). Loves boxes and wardrobes where she feels safe, and has started responding to gentle pats and soft voices. Praline loves her food, which is a good thing indeed. She's been around children and other cats, hasn't been tested with dogs.
She's currently being fostered with her bestie Allie. Allie brings out the best in Praline, and Praline shows this by lovingly head booping her. Together they are stronger.
This strength would mean that together Praline and Allie would be happily independent of constant human contact. Their owner could be away for extended periods of time during the day without worrying about their cats constantly fretting for them. Bonus!
Praline (and Allie as a duo) would make lovely gentle companions for someone who's either home a lot or not home a lot. They would provide double the feline cuddles and joy only a cat can bring.
If you're looking for a sweet girl (and in this case girls) who need time, patience and love to blossom, who can also offer independence to a worker owner, submit an enquiry now!
Praline is a healthy mainly raw fed young cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010100040334, source #RE101165). She is available for adoption right now!
