About Darla

questionnaire
Please read the profile carefully.
Darla is a total darling! She is a very sweet 2 year old border collie cross Labrador with the most beautiful nature who just loves everyone!
Darla absolutely must have a home with another doggy friend to keep her company when her humans are away as she gets lonely if left on her own. She also needs a home that understands the mental stimulation and physical needs of her breed and are committed to ongoing training. Darla is not suited to a home with cats.
She would have to be an indoor/outdoor dog as she just loves being inside spending time with her family. Darla is currently recovering from a right sided femoral head osteotomy due to hip dysplasia, she is recovering well since surgery but may always walk with a slight limp.
Darla just loves people. She stops on a walk to get patted by everyone that comes past! Her favourite thing to do is follow you around the house and sit by your side and gaze at you adoringly. She reminds her foster mum of Doug the dog from Up, because she's such a happy go lucky softie who just loves everyone.
She gets on well with other dogs too and loves to play with her doggy friends. She also loves going on walks and playing fetch. She is very affectionate, gentle and calm dog, a total sweetheart.
Darla is toilet trained, can sit and come when she’s called and she is learning how to walk well on a leash :)
If Darla sounds like the perfect addition to your family, send in your application today!
